Clicking on “password” will redirect you to a page where you will be required to enter your username, and then verify yourself (using a captcha). Enter your username, type in the correct characters in the captcha and click “continue”.
Step 4: Select Password Reset Option
You will be given three password reset options i.e. reset password by email, security question or account information.
Reset Password By Email – the password reset link will be sent to your email
Security Question – you will be asked the security question
Account Information – you will be asked something about your account (e.g. your Sky account number).
Select the option you want.
Step 5: Choose New Password
Whatever option you choose above, you will ultimately end up in the password reset page. If you choose the email option, you will be sent a link which redirects you to the password reset page. If you choose a security question, answering it correctly will take you to the password reset page. The same applies to the account information option.
Once you are in the password reset page, simply enter the new password, confirm the new password and click “Reset Password”. You will be redirected to the Sky login page where you can sign in with your new password.
How To Delete Your Sky Online Account
Unfortunately, Sky does not provide a direct way of deleting your SkyiD account. However, given that it is liked to an actual Sky account, once you cancel your Sky subscription, your SkyiD account will become inactive after 31 days from the moment of cancelation.
“Inactive” in this sense means that you will not be able to access the personal services. But still, you will be able to login. To ensure that the account remains inactive, the best way is to avoid logging in altogether. If you really want to delete the account, your best option is to contact the Sky helpdesk via help.sky.com.
In a nutshell, those are a few basic Sky Online Account operations. Therefore, if you intend to enjoy various Sky services online such as My Sky, Sky Go, Sky Store, Sky Broadband Shield, and Sky apps, the first step is to create a SkyiD. Just follow the above instructions, and you’ll be good to go. Enjoy!
